“A singular approach: the theatre as a way to assert oneself as citizen of the world” from 2003 to 2005
This project launched by Image Aiguë was sponsored by the Programme Culture 2000 of the European Commission. The stage performance “Addio Mamma”, at the core of the project, has put together professional comedians of the Company with children and teenagers coming from France, Germany, Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands.

At the occasion of this European project, an exchange platform was created in order to promote each one’s speech and culture. Photo, video, sound and web have contributed to develop such platform and helped to overcome the barrier of language.
Beside the youngsters, adults, teachers, coordinators and parents have involved themselves into the theatrical praxis and have been made aware of it. All actors of the project, schools, and cultural operators were able, through the net, to meet other cultures and different worlds.
This first European project is followed today by a second called “ L'Europe commence ici ou là-bas” Europe starts here and there, an artistic event conceived and produced by the Compagnie Image Aiguë in the tree countries assuming the next European Union presidencies: France, the Check Republic and Sweden. The dynamic of the project is the creation and the international tour of the new performance by Christiane Véricel “Ici là-bas” Here and There.
