Giacinto !
Giacinto, 18, our favourite Sicilian, is a charming young man fond of theatre and very thoughtful. An attitude that moves by his polite, humanistic nature, and the bright eye he turns on the world.

He’s grown !
Few years ago, I met him during a previous european project. He was still a child, very round and funny. It seems to me that he perfectly embodied the joy of life, the pleasure of being there and a very strong liking for greed (his parents are confectioners !).
I created for him a smart character, very talkative and obsessed by the story of the Little Red Riding Hood. Because the starving wolf jumps to her and devours her...
With Giacinto, we talked about his life, his town, his point of view of a young palermitan citizen. A mixed feeling, sometimes a harsh view, but very attached to his town, to the sea (by the way, he was on the beach when I called him !).
To prepare his coming in july with other Europeans, I asked him photos of Palerme, today confronted to the garbage men strike (like in Naples or Marseille).
A striking contrast between the beauty of architecture, the noisy crowd of the inhabitants and the piling up of the waste in the streets. A nice idea to discuss in our theatre. Whose fault is it ?...
Giacinto, we rely on him, he relies on us. A common hope on what we have to work together to confort him and improve his theatrical gifts. To help him to set up a small group of theatre in his town. Beginning of a big project ? We will see !
