Program Culture

Since March 2010, Image Aguë became Cultural Ambassador of Europe for 2010 and is supported by the EU-Culture Program.

European Commission

From the 1rst of July 2008 till the 31rst of December 2009, during the French, the Check  and Swedish presidencies of the European Union, Image Aiguë was organised a series of artistic events within the project called “ L'Europe commence ici ou là-bas “ or Europe starts here and there. This project was sponsored by the Euroglobe program of the European Commission, which aims at developing a public European sphere of debate, culture and learning.

European cultural season

“ L'Europe commence ici ou là-bas “ was also covered by the European Cultural Season in France (1rst of July – 31rst of December 2008) within the mission “ Culture France” which aim is to accompany French creation beyond frontiers and to promote cultural diversity throughout the world.

The company is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Communication - Drac Rhônes-alpes, of the city of Lyon, France cultures convention – by the City of Lyon, Rhône-Alpes region, by the Hippocrene foundation and by the foundation Bnp-Paribas. Thanks to this sponsors, local projects can come to light such as school workshops in and after school meant for children living in French towns and agglomerations (Lyon, Cherbourg and Rouen). These workshops lead to performances called the “Impromptus” especially  presented at the Célestins, Theatre of Lyon, at the Theatre of the Renaissance in Oullins and also at the Polaris of Corbas since 2006.
