Theatrical progression in Istanbul and Diyarbakir

Since December 2007, Image Aiguë follows a French Turkish drama training and research study between Istanbul, Diyarbakir and Lyon, as part of the European project “L'Europe commence ici ou là-bas” Europe starts here or there.The Company organises workshops weeks where children, young actors, musicians and teachers are trained to the acting techniques of Image Aiguë in order to give birth to a desire of artistic expression and communication with the other and to stimulate the development of new stage activities. 


Besides, the Company has pursued this artistic adventure with young comedians and musicians by inviting them to participate in the representations of the performance “Les Impromptus" in Lyon in June 2008, and also to the training workshops of the Ensemble Théâtral Européen (program of artistic training at a professional level). All this led to the creation of the performance "Ici là-bas” at the Célestins, Theatre of Lyon, in October 2008, followed by a French and European tour in 2009.Turkish partners
